Vaccines Dangers: What Mainstream Media Didn’t Tell You

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off

Vaccines are supposed to be the solution to all the most popular diseases and in many cases they can be considered helpful. However, vaccines have always generated great controversies, since the procedures that are adopted to prepare them are mostly unknown to the many. Photo credit: dodoman Recent and old studies brought to the light the connection between vaccines and certain diseases that affect humans, such as mental retardation, dyslexia, immune deficiency and many others. The point of the whole situation is that by debilitating certain viruses through vaccines (whose "ingredients" include foreign tissues and other chemicals), our immune system loses its strength, thus making ourselves weaker and sometimes permanently damaging some of our own organs and body parts. The …

Global growth and world poverty remain hot topics influenced by a bunch of very hard to control variables: food, health, politics, economics, religion and human rights. Recent reports released by FAO and other important world institutions showcase a global situation that no one can deny: the poor become poorer and the rich become richer. Photo credit: Brian McEntire In recent years general opinion seemed to associate the problem of low birth rates with the one of food scarcity, thus connecting low growth levels with poverty. However, recently such a viewpoint started to be questioned and several studies have been bringing to light quite a different reality: low birth rates are typical of the richest countries, where food is more available …

A recent study into the carcinogenic qualities of the much-used sweetener product aspartame has proved without a doubt that it is essentially a deadly toxin. And yet time and time again industry insiders have done all they could to prevent news like this from going public. Photo credit: Ronald Hudson Go back twenty five years and the evidence was there already – documentation exists as to tumors of the brain, ovaries, uterus, mammaries, testicles, thyroid and pancreas brought on by this malignant chemical, and these were all presented to the FDA. The result was that aspartame was denied approval, but this was quickly overturned by people in high places with a vested interest in the success of aspartame, as you …

Complex Systems Management: When Linear Approaches Don’t Work

Posted by: | Comments Comments Off

Wikipedia says that: "There are many definitions of complexity, therefore many natural, artificial and abstract objects or networks can be considered to be complex systems, and their study (complexity science) is highly interdisciplinary. Examples of complex systems include ant-hills, ants themselves, human economies, climate, nervous systems, cells and living things, including human beings, as well as modern energy or telecommunication infrastructures." Photo credit: tasosk A complex system is any system that is based on strict collaboration and interaction: a network, basically. But which is the right way to manage a complex system and make it work? In health care, researchers and consultants who take up complexity, often fail to follow through the implications in their work and are unable to …

The Autism Society of America defines autism: "a complex developmental disability that typically appears during the first three years of life and is the result of a neurological disorder that affects the normal functioning of the brain, impacting development in the areas of social interaction and communication skills." Photo credit: Time Magazine The international scientific community officially states that the causes of autism are still unclear and therefore we seem to be still far from seeing an effective cure for this disease. However, recent studies have brought to light interesting results that might actually open new paths for research. We have already published an article which introduced us to a new perspective on autism by disclosing the likely connections between …

"Autism is classified by the World Health Organization (WHO) and American Psychological Association as a developmental disability that results from a disorder of the human central nervous system. It is diagnosed using specific criteria for impairments to social interaction, communication, interests, imagination and activities. The causes, symptoms, etiology, treatment, and other issues are controversial." (Source: Wikipedia) Photo credit: SIU According to the major world institutions dealing with health the causes of autism are still very unclear and researchers are studying a wide range of possible genetic and environmental causes. Since the way autism manifests itself is different for each individual, there are many who support the idea that autism is likely caused by multiple "causes" that interact with each other …
