Better Server Access Logs

One new features to come to the LPCP web hosting control panel this month is the ability to gain access your server access logs.
Server access logs are the log files that record all requests processed by a web hosting account. Anything that happens on your web hosting account will be recorded in the server access logs, if you have enabled the setting from within your LPCP control panel for the web hosting plan you use.
How to View Server Access Logs in LPCP
To reach your web hosting account’s server access logs, you must first login to your account’s LPCP control panel. Next, find the link that reads “Server Access Logs”. Click it to go to the Server Access Logs page within LPCP.
This section of the LPCP control panel manages web access logs. It archives logs for each domain setup on your web hosting account. Use the table on the Server Access Logs page to enable logs on domains you need. Archives with logs get updated daily and can be obtained by clicking on the archive name.
When it comes to troubleshooting account issues, or seeing how your account is being used – server access logs are an important feature to know and use, as needed. Also remember, for more great tutorials, tips and more, go browse through the Lunarpages web hosting wiki.

However, when using your affiliate program information to help your web site visitors, friends, and family members sign up for Lunarpages, there are a few things you might want to double check, to make sure they are off your affiliate checklist so we can pay you up to $65 per person you bring to us.
Keep Your Information Up to Date
It is very important to make sure you keep your personal information, such as your name, postal address, phone number and more up to date in our affiliate program. You can easily go double check that information anytime by logging into our affiliate account system, and then clicking on the tab labeled, “Update Your Info”. By doing so, you can help us make sure you get your payments sent to your address.
Send in Your Tax Form Documentation
Once you sign up for the Lunarpages affiliate plan, you will need to send us the needed tax documentation before we can send payment to you.
Every account you refer needs to remain active for more than 30 days, during our money back guarantee period. We (and the IRS!) also require that a W-9 (US affiliates) or W8-BEN (international affiliates) tax form be submitted before we can send your payments. Learn to Target Your Audience Directly to the Plan They Want
After working with hundreds of affiliates, there is one thing I have learned. Directing potential web hosting clients to a specific web hosting plan page, rather than just lunarpages.com itself leads to more successful referrals. For example, rather than using just:

In your banner or text link advertisements, try using:
http://www.lunarpages.com/id/affiliateusername/goto/basic-hosting/
This would direct the potential web hosting referral to the Basic hosting plan’s page, where more information about that specific hosting plan is given. To track the success rate of each affiliate banner ad or text link, you could also setup a campaign to track the click through and sign up rate and any one specific affiliate link.
