hi, anybody can advise how if i want to change my hosting(bravenet) to hostgator? what should be the step?

I'm currently with GC Webhosting. The service is very good, but the cost is high IMHO.

Our Disk Space Usage: 9110MB / 9216MB (99%)Our Bandwidth usage:

56806MB / 61440MB (92%)
and we have already used it up for the month, so we need substantially more.

We pay over $30 per month.
We are in the USA (NYC).

Does anyone have a reliable host that is NOT an overseller that we can use?

I will soon be running my vBulletin 4 forum but I am looking for a 3rd party, full back up server provider which is well known or is reputable with vBulletin forum owners. Basically, I wish to do a regular, full back up of my website on a 3rd party server away from the server on which my website is being hosted.

Clearly, the server I am hosting the website on may lose my entire website if it is too harshly intruded upon.

So, I need a back up which, in the event of a hack or crash on my main server, will restore the website in it's full structural and data formats.

Can someone please suggest a few options? Any additional and/or other relevant information will also be appreciated.

After a hard work to migrate from IcyPhoenyx to phpBB3 and from phpBB3 to VB4, I find that the hosting that I have uploaded is too slow.


I tried to optimize the web reading several guides but is still very slow.


The site I manage has a 1200-1800 visits a day, about 100-150 per hour.
My budget is 10-20 € per month.


Will I be you can advise a proper hosting?
